Alumnae Testimonials

״The student village simply gave me a Beit Midrash for life. In the midst of the intensity of my studies, the group and the Beit Midrash were exactly the place to step away from everything for a few hours of learning and spiritual growth. And the best part is knowing that from now on, I’ll have a Beit Midrash that feels like my spiritual home.״

Naomi Ashkenazi

״Before the start of my studies, I was looking for a place to live that offered added value — I didn’t want my entire daily routine to revolve only around studying. At Nishmat’s student village, I found a wonderful community that combines Torah learning with weekly volunteer work. Even when the studies are demanding, it’s great to know that you can integrate other meaningful things along the way and enjoy the journey. Highly recommended!״

Hallelujah Tzafri

״Being part of the student village means that Torah becomes part of your daily academic routine — you can finish your day and head down to the beit midrash with a cup of tea and slippers to learn a bit, start a free morning with learning, or stop by the beit midrash before heading out to class to pray. It means knowing that if a halachic question comes up, there is someone accessible and nearby to turn to. This helps you continue and deepen your Torah learning throughout the years of study, even when the schedule is packed and it isn’t easy. The closeness and accessibility of the beit midrash are a great privilege, giving depth and meaning to the years of study, and the village makes this possible while also providing space for volunteering and active involvement.״
