Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement applies to the Nishmat websites in Hebrew/English: nishmat.net, Nishmat.co.il.

We see great importance in making our website and its content accessible to the general public, in the belief that we provide service and information for the wider audience, regardless of the abilities or needs of individuals using our services. We are making efforts to ensure that all information is accessible and adapted to the different needs of people browsing our website.

The website complies with Israeli law requirements and the Israeli Standard AA level, according to Israeli Standard 5568  ת”י.

Below are some of the actions taken on the site in order to make it optimally accessible to the needs of the various users: 

1. Links within the website content appear in a different font color.
2. The website is compatible with viewing in all browsers.
3. Files on the website are available as PDF files, which make it easier to enlarge and read the text.
4. Most videos include subtitles, allowing users with hearing impairments to enjoy the content.
5. An accessibility menu appears in the upper left part of the screen (inside the image of the person).
6. The accessibility menu includes adjustments of functional, graphical, and textual elements for users’ benefit:

1. Navigation on the website using a keyboard instead of only a mouse
   b. Disabling animations and flashing on the screen
   c. Creating contrast between the website background and text
   d. Option to enlarge or read aloud the text
   e. Switching fonts on the site to a more readable and comfortable font
   f. Marking headings and creating clear hierarchies
   g. Highlighting links and buttons

 

Despite our efforts to make the website fully accessible, it is possible that there are contents we have not yet identified as requiring accessibility adjustments.
